Few things in life excite me more than food and drink, and the announcement of the new Starbucks spring 2021 menu is proof of that. Announced today and launching in UK stores from 4th March, the new offering consists of three new drinks and three new sandwiches. First up is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Latte, inspired by the unparalleled combination of coffee and biscuits, and topped with chocolate chip cookie syrup and a sprinkling of chocolate cookie crumbs. Sounds pretty good, right? Next comes new version of the classic vanilla latte, made with the new Starbucks Blonde espresso roast, chosen specifically because of its compatibility with the vanilla syrup. The new Blonde® Vanilla latte is available with sugar-free syrup, and as an iced option, too. Warmer days are truly on the way!

In an attempt to build on its sustainability commitment, the new food range aims to include even more plant-based choices, outside of its already existing vegan toppings and nut blends. Available for a limited time, the new Spinach and Pea Falafel wrap comes complete with a crunchy pickled cabbage slaw and caramelised onion hummus, which already has my mouth watering. If peas aren’t your thing, there’s also the Veggie New York Style Deli Sandwich, (so basically a deli sandwich without any of the meat) and my personal favourite, the Chicken, Mozzarella and Pesto Focaccia aka the holy grail of breads.

The new Starbucks spring range is available from 4th March.
