We should have known that some of the only exciting news in 2020 would come courtesy of good old Cadbury. The confectionery master has given us a tasty treat to look forward to in the coming months: a Mini Egg chocolate bar. Yep, we’re talking about the iconic chocolate eggs, which have been reinvented into bar form.
Rumours from Great British Foods about the newbie have been swirling around the internet for the past few days and (until now!) it wasn’t clear whether our dreams of a Mini Egg chocolate bar would become a reality, or if it was just another of those fake viral disappointments. Luckily, Cadbury released a statement to POPSUGAR to confirm the news. “It’s true – our iconic Mini Eggs are coming to tablet form this Easter! We will be able to share more details on this new treat as well as the rest of our plans for a cracking Easter season very soon – so watch this space.”
So not only do we have Cadbury Easter eggs and Mini Eggs to look forward to, but we’ve also got a Mini Egg chocolate bar to add to our ever-growing collection of favourite sweet treats. We’ll be sure to update with more information as soon as we have it.
