The return of Starbucks’s pumpkin spice latte is a moment that truly signifies the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. First unveiled in 2003, the creamy, spicy latte has transcended generations of coffee-lovers and now remains a staple of the autumn festive season, and the time has come for it to return.
Arriving in stores on 2 September, the latte’s return is part of Starbucks’s brand new menu for autumn 2021, which features some exciting new additions. A continuation from the chain’s commitment to increasing its vegan and vegetarian food range, the new menu includes a plant-based pumpkin spice cookie, a no-meatball marinara wrap, and a brie, butternut, and chutney focaccia.
